As part of our development Alab are always continually looking at ways of expanding its field of expertise and business in order to meet the demands of our customers and industry.
Within the Alab businesses we are currently able to offer the landfilling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in our Seaton Meadows landfill site. The site is capable of taking a wide range of waste (see landfill) from a variety of sources including the offshore industry and manufacturing.

Alab have prepared for the requirement for all wastes to be pre-treated prior to landfill (October 2007) by investing in a materials recycling facility in Middlesbrough which can accept a variety of materials for segregation and recovery / recycling. We are also developing a hazardous waste treatment plant at the Seaton Meadows landfill site; the plant will offer the latest treatment technologies to help our customers meet their obligations under the 2005 Waste Acceptance Criteria. The plant is expected to take liquid, sludge and solid hazardous wastes.

Although our businesses are located in the North East of England we are able to offer advice and services to customers throughout the whole of the UK. We have managed to help customers deal with all types of enquires through our competitive rates and excellent understanding of the current UK environmental legislative requirements.
